Pre-gelatinized. Adds a distinctive, spicy rye flavor and can increase body and mouthfeel. Start around 5–10% of the grist and adjust for your recipe.
Grain preparation
You’ll be prompted to select your grain preparation before checkout. Milled grains are packaged together. Separate packaging is available for unmilled grains only.
For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.
