To ensure you receive your grains exactly how you want them, please specify your preferences in the notes section on the cart page before checkout. Choose from the following packaging options:
- Packaged all together unmilled
- Packaged all together milled
- Packaged separately unmilled
For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.
Note: Orders without pre-checkout notations will be shipped packaged separately and unmilled.
Crisp Pale Chocolate malt is a light-roasted specialty malt. Lighter in color and milder in taste than regular chocolate malt, Pale Chocolate has the nutty malt flavor of lighter toasted grains, but also some of the heavier flavor of darker roasted malt. Small quantities can be used to add color to dark beers. Larger quantities will add strong flavor and color, excellent in porters and stouts.
