Rahr Malted Oats

Rahr Malted Oats is your new go-to for adding foam stability and a creamy texture to beer. Ideal for juicy or hazy IPA, stout, porter, or any beer style where increased foam development and silky mouthfeel is desired. Rahr Malted Oats bring earthy, grainy flavors as well as palate fullness.

It is high in protein, but low in color and beta glucans, which reduces the risk of slow or stuck lauter.

Grain preparation

You’ll be prompted to select your grain preparation before checkout. Milled grains are packaged together. Separate packaging is available for unmilled grains only.

For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.
