  2. Packaged all together milled
  3. Packaged separately unmilled

For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.

Note: Orders without pre-checkout notations will be shipped packaged separately and unmilled.

2.1-4.3 °L - Viking Malt - Viking Rye Malt is produced from high quality rye. The malting process does not differ much from pilsner malt production. Final air-on temperature is normally 161-176 °F.

Rye malt gives bready and honey flavor. Can be used in specialty rye beers, Rye Lager, Rye Ale. Gives golden color and typical rye flavor. Viking recommends keeping the dosage of Rye Malt under 7% to avoid wort separation problems.
