Winter Beer Exchange

The TrueBrü Winter Beer Exchange is coming. We are bringing local homebrewers together to share what they have been brewing and take home a box of beers to enjoy through the season.

This page will stay with the exchange from start to finish and will evolve as the exchange goes through each phase. Come here to sign up, submit your beer information, find the beer lists, leave feedback and vote for your favorite.

Exchange date: Saturday, January 2, 2027
Group times: Group 1 at 10 AM and Group 2 at 11 AM
Location: Truebru 
Signup opens: November 1, 2026
Groups: Two groups of 13 brewers
Bring: 12 bottles or cans of the same homebrew

Sign up for the Winter Beer Exchange

Each group has room for 13 brewers. You can join one group or both. If you join both, submit a separate signup for each group and bring 12 beers for each group, for a total of 24.

Registration closes as each group fills.

How the exchange works

Each group has 13 brewers. Every participant brings 12 bottles or cans of the same homebrew and trades with the other 12 brewers in that group. You leave with 12 different beers to enjoy at home.

Winter beer is the loose seasonal guideline. Brew a winter favorite or your own seasonal take to share with the group.

Keep track of your group when you sign up. The beer lists, feedback and voting will be organized by group so you can find the beers in your box. You will be emailed 

TrueBrü will provide square bottle labels and numbered top stickers. Your assigned number will match your group and signup order, so everyone can find your beer in the list.

Location is Inside Truebru

For anyone who joined the last exchange, we do not think the other space will be available this time around. This is why we are splitting the groups and times up. 

The exchange is Saturday January 2nd , with Group 1 at 10 AM and Group 2 at 11 AM Central Time.

Once your spot is confirmed and your beer is ready, we will send you an email to fill out your beer info.

Feedback and voting

Try all 12 beers over about a month, then vote for your favorite in your group.

Public feedback is optional but encouraged. Share your tasting notes in your group's feedback area so the brewers can hear what you thought. The feedback links will be added here when the exchange is underway.

The voting forms will open after the exchange.

The winner of each group receives $60 in store credit toward consumable products. Your next batch is on us.
