Llenador de botellas con resorte extraíble (3/8 pulg.)
A 3/8-inch bottle filler with a removable spring, a removable top adapter, and a bottom filling tip that comes apart for cleaning.
- Wand length: 12 inches.
- Tubing size: Connects to 3/8-inch inside-diameter tubing with the white top adapter removed.
- Direct spigot connection: Leave the white top adapter in place to connect directly to the FE346 sediment block spigot.
- Spring-operated filling: Press the bottom tip against the base of the bottle to start the flow. Lower the bottle away from the tip to stop it.
- Removable spring: Use the spring for automatic shutoff, or remove it if you prefer springless operation.
- Easy cleaning: The bottom tip and spring come apart for cleaning and sanitizing. Clean and sanitize the filler, adapter, and spigot before bottling.
Recommended bottling setup
Connect this filler directly to a compatible fermenter spigot to fill bottles without extra hoses or a siphon.
The little white piece at the top is a removable spigot adapter. Leave it in place to fit the filler directly into our Sediment Block Spigot (FE346). If you prefer a tubing setup, remove the white top adapter to connect 3/8-inch inside-diameter tubing. This top adapter is separate from the filling valve at the bottom of the wand.
At TrueBru, we're firm believers in bottling directly from the primary fermenter with a sediment block spigot, keeping oxygen mitigation in mind. Skipping an extra transfer to a bottling bucket simplifies the process and helps limit opportunities for oxygen pickup. Fill gently from the bottom of each bottle and avoid splashing. The spigot's internal sediment-block opening can be positioned upward to help leave settled sediment behind.
No transfer to a bottling bucket? Then how do you add priming sugar? Glad you asked! We highly recommend Carb Drops instead. Add the appropriate dose directly to each sanitized bottle, fill from your primary fermenter, and cap. Each bottle gets its own premeasured sugar dose, so you don't have to wonder whether priming sugar mixed evenly throughout the batch. Follow the dosage for your bottle size: our Carbonation Drops call for 1 drop per 12 oz bottle or 2 drops per 22 oz bottle.
This skips the extra transfer to a bottling bucket and the need to prepare and stir in a corn-sugar priming solution, helping minimize unnecessary opportunities for oxygen pickup. Less handling, less equipment to clean, and a simpler bottling day.
