Product Description

White Labs WLP090 San Diego Super Ale Yeast is a low ester producing ale yeast strain known for fast, reliable fermentations and a clean, neutral flavor and aroma profile similar to WLP001 California Ale Yeast®. Its high attenuation produces very dry beers with increased perceived bitterness, making it especially well suited for hop-forward beer styles.

This strain also offers high alcohol tolerance, making it appropriate for a wide range of fermentations including double IPAs, barleywines, ciders, and mead. Its versatility and consistent performance make WLP090 an excellent all-around house yeast for both professional breweries and homebrewers.
