LB, BestMalz-Red X

11.0-13.0 °L - BestMalz - BEST Red X® from BestMalz is a unique German malt with properties of both Munich and Crystal malts. At 100% of the grist, it is designed to produce an intense red color in a beer with an original extract of about 12 °P. Even in small amounts, BEST Red X® will contribute a rich malty Munich-like complexity.

Grain preparation

You’ll be prompted to select your grain preparation before checkout. Milled grains are packaged together. Separate packaging is available for unmilled grains only.

For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.
