LD Carlson Beta Glucanase is an enzyme complex that breaks down barley and malt beta glucans, helping reduce wort viscosity and improve solid and liquid separation, lautering, and filtration.

Because it tolerates a wide range of pH and temperatures, it can be used during mashing or fermentation. It is especially useful with variable or under modified malt, barley adjuncts, or grists that are prone to slow or sticky runoff.
